Filthy Teachers Destroying Lifestyles of Millions!

Teachers play an important part in grooming and educating students. It is the responsibility of the teacher to not only make student learn what is being taught but also educate him the norms of a literate lifestyle. In Pakistan I have met several teachers who are doing their job beautifully. I have learnt a lot from them. It is they who are the torch bearers of a new nation. I believe in teachers, they really are saints. It’s the teacher what has impressed me beyond level to make me love that job and I fancy being a teacher somewhere sooner or later.
Unfortunately we have the amount of awesome teachers less than the amount of teachers who are douchebag. Have you ever seen a teacher feeling pride in failing the students? That’s how you call yourself a teacher you moron?
Anyways it’s not about teacher failing me or anyone else in this article, that’s a whole new topic.
My, this article is a result of a Vow I made while I was sitting in examination hall today. You may not believe this but this is entirely true story without any exaggeration.
I am a student of Iqra University Islamabad Campus as most of my blog followers know. We were having our Software Engineering (Course) paper today. This subject is being taught by senior most teacher of our university Dr.M.Yousaf Khan. He is very nice teacher and despite being old is the heart and soul of the University and is being loved by entire student hood. Well most of it as you know there are always few unhappy people everywhere. Our entire class was achieving more than average in this class and I was among those few who were in the line of getting an A. Well with that I would like to mention I was getting my first A so was taking care of it like a little plant. Sigh

Story Started when the Invigilator assigned to us in our Exam class was Miss Javeria Javed, a young professor who teaches Linear Algebra. I have never had any experience of her teaching. Along with her was another teacher who was of Management or Business department as I don’t know who she was. She was very kind and sweet.
As we entered the class, room erupted with the manly type voice of Miss Javeria asking “why are you here?” “Which paper?”
Her voice is not pleasant to ears, I swear.
One of the class mate who came late into the class and asked for exam paper.
He was mortified to hear “were you sleeping comment in reply” like seriously?
Paper wasn’t bad enough but her voice and constant shrieking and bellowing made it impossible for us to solve paper. Not to forget, she was passing comments silently, calling us stupid and disgusting.
A student whose answer sheet was having binding issues wasn’t given the stapler and was scolded in an inhumanly way. He really was so pissed.
The best part came when a student asked for the bottle of water. He had to face the consequences by listening to harsh words in a voice that gives your head a jolt of electricity. He like others didn’t accepted this and went into a conversation with Miss Dictator, supported by class. She shushed him and then said “This is my class, my rules will be followed here. If you are thirsty enough submit your paper and go drink the water”. The other Madam who was smiling rushed out and asked the managerial staff for water bottle.
He returned with 1.5 liters bottle. Miss Dictator who wasn’t happy at her rules being breached pointed the guy and ask the staff person “Give him water, make him drink whole bottle”.
Staff person forgot to bring the glass so the student asked “how should I drink this?” and as usual Miss D replied coldly to use your mouth. He did drank the bottle directly from his mouth.
Miss D asked the staff person to “go and throw the bottle in dustbin as the water has been drunk by the student and is now contagious.” Like Seriously?
Numerous amount of students asked for the bottle that they wanted to drink but Miss D made the staff man throw the bottle. As if we are living in the world with no issues of drinkable water.

Anyways we screwed our exam as it her continuous shrieks had made our head hurt like anything. None of us was able to focus. I end up making notes for this article while staring at exam sheet.

Later after exam students filled application against Miss D to examiner head, which most probably will get rejected as who can take action against a teacher?. One of the student filed a harassment application against the Miss.
Word teacher is such a respectable thing, our history is full of great legendry teachers and now this? Where the world is heading?
I felt really sorry that I had to write an article on Teacher that is not an appreciation article. She doesn’t represent all the teachers of university but she is still a teacher and how many students will learn stuff from her. I felt embarrassed. We should all serve properly and be the torch bearers and we should raise the voice against such odds so that we can build a better future, a better Pakistan and finally a Nation!.

P.S anyone who thinks this article is harassing a teacher or is too rude should know that I just wrote reality, a sad one. I do have freedom of speech enough to speak against such odds. It’s my responsibility as a writer and a social worker to highlight things in our society.
